A while ago I invested in Canon EOS 40D, funnily enough I’ve never actually owned a digital camera, my phone has always been good enough for point and shoot duty, and I’ve never been able to afford the kind of SLR I’ve always wanted. Becoming self employed, as well as taking up more print work, I found I had enough reasons to warrant coughing up over the cash. Anywauy, enough rambling, I recently saw a nicely priced Tokina 10-17mm lens knocking about on eBay, so I went for it.

Here are a few images I caught in Newquay, whilst taking a few shots for the Errant Surf School Flyer.

In mid 2009 Errant’s website underwent a major rebranding with a new colour scheme and logo, after the launch of the site Errant asked Sixty Two Design to take elements of the new site and develop a print based advertising campaign that maintained the new company image.

This flyer was produced to promote the Surf School part of the business, based in Newquay, Cornwall. This flyer was designed to grab the attention of potential customers who are already in Newquay on a trip or holiday. The flyer has been placed in prominent tourist locations around Newquay, and with the addition of the £5 voucher, is proving to be a great success.

This flyer was produced to promote the Surf Travel sector of the business, designed to grab the attention of potential customers who may already be interested in a surfing trip, as well as appealing to those who might be looking at something a little different for their next holiday.

The flyer was also reworked as magazine adverts for popular surfing titles Carve and Wavelength, as well as international publications such as BMI Airlines.
